Global Chief Operating Officer & President, GLP US
Stephen Schutte is President of GLP US, leading the company’s vision, mission and overall strategic direction. He is also COO of GLP, overseeing global operations and spearheading GLP’s global and strategic initiatives. He was previously GLP’s General Counsel and Chief Administrative Officer.
Prior to joining GLP, Steve was Senior Vice President at DCT Industrial Trust Inc. where he was General Counsel and a Market Officer overseeing multiple regions. He was also a member of the investment and executive management committees. Prior to that, Steve was Associate General Counsel of Prologis.
Steve holds a Master of Business Administration from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and the School of Business and Management at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. He received his Juris Doctor from the University of Iowa College of Law and his Bachelor of Arts from Creighton University.
Chief Financial Officer
Peter O. Kane is Chief Financial Officer of GLP US, overseeing all financial and information technology functions of the organization. He joined the executive team in 2018.
Prior to joining GLP, Pete held various roles with Prologis from 2005 to 2017, most recently as the Senior Vice President of Global Operations. He was also Chief Financial Officer of GE Capital Residential Connections where he was responsible for all financial affairs of the organization. Prior to GE, Pete worked in various capacities with Arthur Andersen LLP.
Pete holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Colorado and is a Certified Public Accountant.
Executive Vice President – Leasing
Thomas Cherry is Executive Vice President of GLP US, overseeing all leasing activity for the company’s portfolio of nearly 1,400 properties located in 36 US markets. He joined the executive team in 2018.
Prior to joining GLP, Tom served as Managing Director at JLL, focusing on corporate solutions, tenant representation and complex land and building sales. Throughout his extensive 30-year career, Tom held various senior leadership/brokerage roles at the “big three” commercial real estate brokerage companies, CBRE, Cushman & Wakefield and JLL, working with multiple Fortune 500 companies in various leasing activities for both industrial and office properties. Tom has participated in more than 45,000,000 square feet of assignments in 37 states and 12 countries.
Tom holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Southern California. Tom is also a member of the Urban Land Institute.
SVP – General Counsel
Aron Youngerwood is Senior Vice President and General Counsel of GLP US, providing legal and strategic oversight of the company’s operations, funds and real estate portfolio with a focus on corporate governance and operational matters. He joined the executive team in 2018.
Prior to joining GLP, Aron was General Counsel (Americas) at CBRE Global Investors where he structured and oversaw CBRE’s real estate funds, corporate and real estate transactions. He was also a real estate and corporate attorney at prominent law firms in Los Angeles, New York and London, specializing in mergers and acquisitions, capital markets, real estate, investment management, financing and regulatory work.
Aron holds an LL.M. from Harvard Law School and an LL.B from University College London, England. He is an attorney admitted to the legal bars of California, New York and England.
SVP – Chief Accounting Officer
Annie Fitzgerald is Chief Accounting Officer of GLP US, leading the company’s financial reporting, accounting and treasury functions. She joined the executive team in 2018.
Prior to joining GLP, Annie served as Chief Accounting Officer of Care Capital Properties, where she oversaw SEC reporting, Sarbanes-Oxley compliance, accounting and treasury functions. In addition, Annie was the Chief Accounting Officer at InvenTrust Properties. She was responsible for the company’s SEC reporting, accounting, budget and forecasting functions and was the finance lead the through various strategic platform transactions. Annie also held various accounting and finance roles at Equity Office Properties.
Annie holds a Bachelor of Science in accounting and finance from the Drake University and is a Certified Public Accountant.
